The Joe Digeroloma Memorial Scholarship

The Black Tiger Diamond Alumni Club was created to link Black Tiger baseball players from the past to players of the future.
Each year, we aim to raise enough funds to offer a scholarship to a deserving senior or seniors, it has been named the Joe Digeroloma Memorial Scholarship.  Joe DiGeroloma was a 1967 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School. He was a Cuyahoga Falls Amateur Baseball Association Board Member and inducted into the CFABA Hall of Fame in 2001. He started his coaching career with Little Black Tigers Youth Football. He then went on to coach multiple sports teams throughout Cuyahoga Falls Schools System which included football, basketball and baseball. He was a JV coach and Varsity assistant coach at Cuyahoga Falls High School from the 1970's-1995. He created and managed the original Cuyahoga Falls Wildcats travel baseball team. During his retirement he still attended & supported Cuyahoga Falls high school football, basketball and baseball games and helped keep score at the boys’ varsity basketball games until his unexpected passing on March 17th, 2008.

In total we have awarded over $2000 in Scholarships in 5 seasons!
